Details of Curriculum
As curriculum is the foundation of the school Teaching - Learning process. So main emphasis has been given for set up of the curriculum as per the age groups of the students keeping in view the prevailing situation around us and also having the combination of our traditional and modern electronic system.
The syllabus are set up for both the Scholastic and Co-Scholastic area as of education required the all around development of the learner. The syllabus are prepared and prescribed to inculcate the needs of the learners for their physical, mental and psychological satisfaction. All the subjects are thought keeping in view of the class level such as Play -way, Nursery, K.G., 1st to 8th, 9th, 10th as CBSE Syllabus and +1, +2, as per the stream of subjects opted by the students with the help of NCERT Books and other Reference Books. The faculty is advised and suggested to make the classroom teaching environment as social environment by relating the teaching with the students personal life set up. For this teachers teach their subject syllabus with the help of examples, demo, charts, maps by taking the students of library, Science labs, Computer labs and English Spoken Lab etc. To make the students of innovative, logical and of critical thinking which will help them to change of the cramming towards understanding nature and indirectly to make them competitors in each field during their life span that will help them approachable towards ideal personalities and citizens. The best combinations of subject such as languages (Mother-tongue (native language)) (Punjabi), National language (Hindi) and international language (English), Math syllabus teachings with the repeatedly knowledge of Tables, Four - Fundamentals, formulae, figures and maximum mathematical aids, Science teaching by giving experimental knowledge, Social Science subjects, EVS, Drawing, Art painting, Music are taught as hobbies to make the students mentally relax, Moral-Education is taught to make the students to develop the habits of great thinker to know the Indian rich literature, Culture civilization and etiquettes of social life. To test the teaching learning, all the students are put to take class, periodical and annual theory and practical exams.
To mentally sharpen- Quiz tests and General Knowledge exams are taken, For English Speaking fluency Debate, Declamation and Group Discussion activities are per formed.
For the wellness of the students, to make them physically fit and to put them in the relaxation mood, the special attention is given towards sports and games. The proper dimensioned play grounds are available for the Basketball, Football, Netball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Badminton, 200 metre track and maximum infrastructure is available for Athletics.
To keep the teachers update, maximum infrastructure is made available to them in the form of Newspapers, Magazines and Reference Books. It is mandatory for all the teachers to attend the school Seminars CBSE webinars and others subject. Refresher Courses. So proper curriculum is a prescribed for the Educational Sessions with the above mentioned contents to make the students eligible to fulfill their aim and ambition of life.
Norms followed for fixing fee
The school follows the Non- Proprietary and non profit character to set up the fee norms keeping in view the salary of the school staff and other maintenance expenditures. Admission Fee, Examination Fee, Lab Fee and any other hidden charges are not taken. Only the reasonable Tuition Fee and the least Annual Charges are taken.
Affiliation Status
Green Field Convent School, Dangarh Distt. Barnala. CBSE Affiliation No. 1631031, School Code 21014, situated near Dhanaula on Dhanaula-Dangarh Road is affiliated upto 2024 for the classes Play-Way, Nursery to +2 (all streams, Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce, Inter-Arts and Arts).
Details of Infrastructure
The Green Field Convent School is situated in a 5-Acre green lush area having a very attractive three story well maintained building, Play grounds, Assembly ground, grassy lawns, flower beds, School bus Parking, Service Station, Guest Vehicle Parking, School Generator, Wi-Fi, Attractive and beautiful Swings, Sea saw and Jhoolas.
The school building have 34 airy, ventelated, well furnished, well equipped with electric appliances, green board, suitable furniture, CCTV cameras and very attractive and decorated AC fitted classrooms for small kids of Nursery - KG.
There are well equipped Physics, chemistry, Biology, Math, Computer, English Spoken Labs, a library with all the suitable large number books of all the subjects related different age group of students. There are separate neat and clean toilets for boys, girls and staff are set up as per the needs at each storey.
For drinking water, RO- System attached - water - taps and water coolers are made available at each storey.
For Fire Safety - suitable number of Fire. Extinguishers are available at the nearest approach.
For Proper Administration and Management, the required, Chairman office, Director Office, Principal office, Vice-Principal office, Staff Room, Pantary, Medical Room, Manager office, Administration Block and well furnished Reception Spot are set up at suitable place easily approachable to students and parents.
For safety and enquiry a guard post is set up at the school entrance gate.
Transport
The school has its own transport of 18 Vehicles including buses, mini buses and vens. All are well equipped with traffic norms such as GPS, CCTV camera, First-aid box, Water camphor, Proper seating arrangement and required symbols and signs. The drivers are well trained, experienced and have knowledge about traffic rules.
